A large scale contemporary portrait painting. You can read what you like into it, but for me it tells of the tiredness that can come with life ... and the bittersweet memories of better times long gone. Finished with gloss varnish and painted edges.
Painting is a way of expressing myself and immortalising the amazing joy and beauty of the world around us. I am an avid gardener, so it comes as no surprise that many of my artworks are floral or nature based. Painting brings me peace and joy, and I hope my artworks do the same for you. Enjoy. x
