In all my ‘homes’ my sense of belonging has been more about what is outside rather than inside. I feel more at home outside in my old clothes than inside in my good ones. So in each place I live, at every chance, the outside comes inside. Vases and vases of soft petals. This is my heart and my home.
Painting is a way of expressing myself and immortalising the amazing joy and beauty of the world around us. I am an avid gardener, so it comes as no surprise that many of my artworks are floral or nature based. Painting brings me peace and joy, and I hope my artworks do the same for you. Enjoy. x
