I love using pearl paint in artwork. It highlights details that may otherwise go unnoticed. It is also magic in the way it reflects light so that as you walk past the painting, or catch it from a different angle, it can change the picture altogether. Combining pearl paint with mermaid tiles in this artwork certainly gave it that magic feel. Added to that is the waves in the unique ceramic vase, and this artwork certainly has a special quality that would fit as happily in your kitchen as it would in a child’s bedroom.
