What a joy it is to paint flowers that smell as magical as these. The whole room smelt like these gorgeous freesias for days. It was however, doing strange things to my mind - I kept thinking the smell was coming from the yellow paint as I was deep in the process. It was strange to add that extra immersive layer as I painted.
Unfortunately this painting retains none of the smell, but the glorious blooms and luminescent bottle will grace any nook in your room and bring the joy of spring all year round.
Finished in satin varnish.
