I have been painting for over 30 years. While on my adventures I am continually inspired to create works when gazing upon natures beautiful vistas. I try to capture these moments by painting on location, or through photos and sketches, which later allow me to create these paintings in my studio.

I am as passionate about exploring nature as I am with my artworks. I’ve spent countless nights out sleeping under the stars over the years, in many remote wilderness locations throughout Australia and in parts of New Zealand. Every piece of art I create has a story to tell. I do my utmost to capture the moment on canvass that the subject of the painting was, when first seen.

Time and nature have served as my art teacher. I am a self taught artist, having only received the basics of drawing and painting during my early schooling. I have been blessed with what I consider a great gift, in being able to reproduce fond memories of a place and time into art.
