Artwork Description

A remnant of the older mining days in Dunolly this building is still solid and usable. There are a few remnants of farming equipment and the cellar window is visible down one of the sides. This could be one of a pair if required as there is a painting of the original home.

Image is an expression of life in mid season with snow on the mountains and the boat moored for the day. No one about so it is cold and you need to be inside for some respite.Capturing a glimpse, in varying light, of a few ghost gums in a red desert setting .As above the task was to try to convey a quiet corner in a busy fishing port. You have to allow for the fact that after 70 years as an artist you look for variants in what you are doing. My last 2 paintings have been more expressionism than previously. Let me know what you think about the two paintings with boats. I am also an experienced framer and create bespoke frames to the buyers requests. One of the many cafes in the Uzes area in France.
