Turtles were featured a lot in my childhood on the property Bickham . The long necked ones thrived in the river along with the eels. This work is painted on a sand canvas with oils and ochres with my unique sfumato method of using a naked flame and mixing the pigments on the canvas .
Self taught artist from the Upper Hunter NSW. now living in Sydney West. My paintings have won many awards and prizes throughout my career and are placed in many collections around Australia and the World. I tend not to promote myself but recently have decided try to clear out some of the many paintings from the store room.
