Ready for the weekend selfie 24 by Jonathan Redmayne. A new abstract portrait action painting that captures the essence of the current climate…a powerful piece with beautiful brush strokes . Dynamic colours exploring shape, form, rhythm and movement. Painted on 14 May 2022.

My new series "Selfie's" studies the deceptions of achievements, appearance and personality. This current body of work explores narcissism, self absorption, success and insecurity. No matter how good you think you look, there's something about posing for a selfie that might frame you in a bad light. Smile for the camera.
