My new piece selfie five explores the notorious selfie. The selfie is an instant communication of where we are and what we are doing. Unlike traditional self portraiture, selfies are spontaneous, casual, distorted and sometimes carefully staged. This particular painting takes on a minimal approach and explores this very idea.
