The forest in Autumn seemed to wrap us in a comforting embrace, each step unveiling new wonders. Sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting playful shadows on the ground. Max, always curious, sniffed eagerly at the earth, chasing after the elusive scents of woodland creatures.
As we continued, we stumbled upon a small clearing where the trees parted to crossroad. Time seemed to slow down, each moment savoured like the crisp air that filled my lungs. The world beyond the forest felt distant, almost forgotten, as we immersed ourselves in nature's gentle embrace. Eventually, the fading light reminded us it was time to head back, but the memory of that magical autumn day lingered, a reminder of the beauty and peace found in simple, shared adventures.
This particular piece is created on a 5mm MDF panel. Working on panels allows for more intricate details compared to canvas, which can sometimes lose detail during the painting process. I find painting on panels enjoyable due to their smooth surface and the ability to control texture. All my paintings come framed, as depicted in the image.
