Artwork Description

A colourful portrait of the second Dr Who, painted with bold strokes and loose, brush strokes in vibrant colours.

Patrick Troughton is best known for portraying the Second Doctor in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who from 1966 to 1969. He took over the role from William Hartnell and was the first actor to regenerate into a different physical form, signifying the Doctor's ability to change appearance. Troughton's Doctor was known for his more whimsical and playful demeanor, often masking a sharp and cunning mind.
