Basking in the sun, this group of pelicans made the most of a sandbar for a quiet break from fishing. They were relishing the off season at this popular Yorke Peninsular summer holiday destination, enjoying the winter sun.
I was fortunate enough to capture this image without disturbing them while I strolled on the beach, myself enjoying the varied colours of the water and their magnificent reflections.
