Painting intuitively in an abstract expressionist style, Julie ventures where her dreams and brushes take her using memories and vintage imagery as inspiration which leads to a deep immersion in paint, colour and soulful creativity.
Inspired by the rich colours and earthiness of textures from the Australian land and streetscapes, the patina from objects once loved and now discarded are major influences in her work.
