"Seed Pod" is an abstract oil painting.
It was inspired by various seedpods that I have lying around my studio, and whilst the subject matter might be alluded to with the lines, the painting is nevertheless still an abstract.
The surface has been built up with many layers of fine oil glazes and this gives depth to the dark spaces, and a lovely contrast to the white lines.
My signature is on the front, and the work has been varnished for added protection.
