Mark making is my obsession, I was trained as an impressionist, my abstract landscapes reflect that. My mark making is a modern take on pointillism the marks are influenced by the brush shapes. The repetition completely changes the landscape creating a veneer obscuring the original work. Playing with pattern and colour to create a work that is mesmerizing, calming and meditative.
