Earth Watch - will only be available for dispatch mid to end of June 2019

Earth watch is inspired by the Australian outback. The red earth and the extremes in the seasons are pulled together with natural elements including wind, fauna and flora, and the beautiful red earth of the outback. Colors once observed and then imagined, brush strokes evoking the harshness together with the beauty of the outback.

All art by Karen Goddard

Blues, greens, peach lilac and pink repetitive mark making, using a small brush to create a veneer over the abstract landscape below. resulting in a calming work.An abstract landscape of layers and contrast in small brush strokes arranged in a pattern, covered in individual mark making creating a veneer, the intention is to obscure what lies below in a beautiful way. Each mark is the result of many layers, and the colours are all mixed by the artist in a careful way. This work features every shade of blue and green, and hints and hues of lilac, peach and pinkA joyful work full of deep to pastel tones and colours, inspired by my garden outside my art studio. Shades of bluey green and all shades of green mark making creates a veneer over the abstract landscape background.Hot shades in the background, completely paired back by a veneer of brush strokes, in shades of blues and greens, giving the viewer a pixelated aerial view of an abstract landscape.
