"The eternal present" describes for me the process of making a painting. The loose and gestural approach here requires total focus and awareness Both painting and viewing art are invitations to be totally present in responding to the artwork in front of one.
Award winning artist Karen runs a busy arts practice from her hand-sculpted cob studio/gallery at Yankalilla South Australia where she alternates between portraiture, abstract painting and fibre arts. A passion for colour and for experimenting with materials and techniques informs her practice. Her work features in private collections in both Australia and Europe.
