This painting comes from a series called HEAVENLY HYDRANGEAS - the story behind them is the grief journey.One of the rollercoaster ride that we go on emotionally,physically and spiritually.
The stages of moving through such grief is profound and also one of enormous self reflection and growth. The paintings were created mainly by hand, each delivering a different story.
This piece is called EMERGING. It reflects a time where after we have lost ourselves in life that somehow we draw down on inner strength and rebuild our lives, emerging as the new version of self.The dark cloud lifts and we reconnect and reinvent our lives and path. It is like Hydrangeas that die off each year and reinvent themselves, stronger, more vibrant with each awakening.
