Cheeky Corellas, lovable bushrangers, raiders of seed....
A large, happy and colourful studio work inspired by pretty Corellas. These creamy white birds, with their pink and blue ringed eyes, often party on seed in the wattle and banksia trees that grow near our dam.
I've included an image of the work in its early stages - where the 'nutting out' and compositional developement takes place.
Sealed with satin sheen varnish.
