Artwork Description

Solo flight captures the exhilarating freedom of a lone white seabird soaring over stylised turbulent ocean waters. The backdrop is raw linen canvas treated with soft watercolour washes and the bird's form is sculpted using thick modelling paste. Fine acrylic paint details the patterned waves and dark mountain contours, creating a balance of movement and stillness.
