Artwork Description

This is a painting I have created for myself, as a way to escape into another place; you could call it my happy place. Here in my studio, I play with colours shapes and enjoy the creative journey, while listening to music I love. I have worked on this for many hours for several weeks. I was working on other projects, and paintings as well. Taking breaks here and there from the painting. It is fun, and also work. I think it’s time to move on to another painting. I never know when a painting is finished, but this one is finished for now. Inspiration comes from nature, from my memories and from life. We happen to have blackbirds in our garden. Edges of the canvas are painted and the painting is varnished and ready to hang. Framing is optional, and can be arranged through Bluethumb for an additional cost.
