Artwork Description

Watercolour on 300 gsm Arches watercolour paper. 28 cm x 38 cm . I use only professional , artist quality watercolours , such as Windsor and Newton, which will not fade and are light fast. You can see the paper is mould made with deckle edges, and can be framed in a floating frame. Frame not included, and only to show what the painting might look like in a white frame. I recommend custom framing, and the use of archival border and backing board.

One of my favourite things is to create these spontaneous paintings , totally just for fun from imagination. I love to play with colour, and the thing I love most about watercolour is that it is so unpredictable and that makes it exciting. I have found that I often love the resulting painting as well, even though I’m just playing. This painting is from the heart, and I hope someone will love it. It Is a suitable gift for a child, or for that cat lover in your life.
