Artwork Description

I love colour; the more colour the better. I use colour , texture, patterns and a whole lot imagination to create something cheerful and exciting. When I start a new painting, it’s an adventure. I never can predict what will happen, and I try to get into flow, where inspiration takes over.
It’s important to allow for mistakes and to not try for perfection. The biggest challenge is knowing when to stop. I never know Whalen a painting is finished, until it is sold and gone. I have been inspired by many artists over the years, but like to believe that I have now found my own style, and that I’m always evolving my style, because that is what makes it interesting and fun. The painting is 50 cm x 50 cm. The image showing the painting does not necessarily show exact size.
