One of my favourite subjects to paint are abstract or fantasy fish. I love to start with just random marks, without a plan. I often make mistakes, and those random accidental marks are often my favourite bits of the painting. I apply paint with all sorts of brushes, palette knives , sponges, as well as a variety of objects I use for imprinting paint to the canvas. I love to paint with fingers, but some paints can be toxic, so I have to control that urge, unless I’m using non toxic colours. I also like to encourage drips, in the painting. Influences are first of all Picasso, surrealists and naive artists. I love to create from my imagination. The edges of the painting are painted black, and framing is optional and can be arranged through Bluethumb.
