Artwork Description

I enjoy painting fantasy fish, because I love their shapes. I am inspired by nature, as well as the surrealists. Years ago I saw a painting of a fish on a plate which was by Paul Klee. I think this inspired me to paint many abstract fish paintings over the years and influenced my style. Picasso’s cubism style also left a lasting impression on me.
