So does Katarina Lim, a Sydney based artist.
Born and raised in Slovakia, a country full of harmonious blend of nature, Katarina went through learning and practicing all different mediums and technique uses over the years and after gaining a degree in Architecture she moved to Australia, a country so rich of beautiful and endless landscapes and seascapes that became an unending inspiration for her abstract work.
Nature is her biggest inspiration, the love for colours, textures, movements and all different forms that nature has to offer.
The seascapes, beaches and the ocean in particular are playing a big role in her latest abstract works as an inspiration, using the inks, alcohol inks, acrylics and other fluid mediums.
She loves experimenting and exploring, mixing different mediums together and letting them surprise her.
