Sophie and Grigory

Part of my ‘Trio of Duos’ series, Sophie and Grigory are the birthnames of two lovers better known as Catherine the Great and Potemkin.

This is a Soviet style depiction of their love ... a timeless, claustrophobic, addictive kind of love (some word credits to Tom).

The Simon Sebag Montefiore take on their love is beautiful... and made even better by the fact that Mick Jagger describes it as a ‘rather wonderful book’ on the dust jacket blurb :)
