Artwork Description

The blue deep colours and the mysterious interplay of shapes and shades in these Hydrangeas and Agapanthuses has always fascinated me. Through big and decisive brushstrokes I experimented with different ways to express the otherworldly beauty these flowers. I depicted the feelings of the flowers, inspired by their curves and perfect imperfections. Their distinct colours bring back memories, and I aim to capture that trip down memory lane in the eternally beautiful painting.
