Following my graduation from Latvia with a Master of Fine Arts and an Erasmus exchange program in Berlin, I moved on to teach textile arts at the Latvian Academy of Arts.

In 2014, I moved to Australia with my family to start over. I constantly experiment with new techniques in my artwork to push boundaries. I'm now returning to my roots and focusing on textiles once more.
