Artwork Description

On the foreground of the painting, using small and delicate strokes, we can see a Golden Wattle; one of Australia's most beautiful, and fragile yet amazing flowers.
However, as our eyes continue the journey around the canvas, we can see other interesting figures. Using a very bright and happy palette of colours, in the background I depicted a vast variety of things, ranging from the Sydney Harbour bridge, Tasmanian Devil to an Albino Wallaby. Through these themes, I wanted to use the Golden Wattle in the foreground as a catalyst for inclusivity and unification; I wanted to present the wide variety of cultures, flora and fauna among other things that unites us as a whole. And so with a closer look, we can see a Mexican Dancer, Magpies chirping, going on about their days. On the other scale we have a whale, jumping up, happy and carefree.

And all these little figures live in harmony on the canvas. Connected with love, connected with joy. Since we are one, we are all connected. And this painting shows exactly that; connectivity and inclusivity.
