In this artwork, I adapted the style of fauvism, depicting the amazing natural Australian flora (banksias, paper daisies, gumnuts and gum leaves) I used big, free and happy strokes for the foreground. The beautiful flowers come out and spring out, towards the viewer, as if they are alive. Every stroke, every fragment of this painting has its own character, and as it all comes together we see the alluring picture, The background red, to contrast the flowers and add a sense of depth to the whole painting.
