What are our lives if not just a beautiful display of colours, all brought together to convey to us some kind of significant message, that is all perhaps a facade, a dream.
The vivid and pink proteas show true colours in front of a colder, yet mightier king protea, sitting atop an abstract-like pink backdrop. The magpies fill the canvas with beautiful black and white shades, flowing from one into another, to bring to us a breathtaking display of colours. The budgies and the leaves compliment the structure of the painting by adding a contrasting colour, to make the composition stand out more to the eye.
