Katherine is a well-known, respected artist, her work having been published on over 2 million homeware products through Maxwell and Williams. These are sold in Australia and around the world in countries such as Russia, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece, Arab Emirates and UK to name a few. Various calendars, a book cover and other items using her images and having been on programs such as Colour in Your Life, her reputation as an artist has grown rapidly . She is known for her fine work of the highest quality and superb drafting and drawing skills. Her meticulous attention to detail starts with the use of only the finest quality, archival materials. Her knowledge and subtlety of colour used is rarely seen in the art world today. Katherine's birds and animals are full of life and personality. The atmosphere and feeling created in each painting is breathtaking.
Her education started with a Diploma of Art at TAFE and then continued with 30 years so far of self education, practice and persistence. Her childhood days were spent on farms and in the country, with wallabies, wombats, countless birds etc all becoming part of the family. After a 3 year sojourn around Australia, she has settled in Uki where she is regenerating her rainforest property.
