Dance across the dunes

Light moves across the canvas like sun sweeping over sand dunes, shifting in soft, layered currents that feel in constant motion. Gold and copper tones catch and reflect this movement, while magenta highlights pulse through the surface, adding warmth and depth beneath the lighter haze. The composition holds a sense of drifting change, where colour and light dissolve into each other like dunes reshaped by wind.

Katherine is a Queensland based artist who studied Fine Arts and Art History at Elam School of Fine Arts and Auckland University and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. Following this Katherine managed art galleries in the UK and New Zealand, before moving to Sydney where she worked for Sculpture by the Sea in Sydney and Perth, which included curation of the indoor sculpture show.
