Falling into Light

Light has a way of transforming the ordinary into something quietly extraordinary.

In Falling into Light, layers of soft pinks, warm ochres and deep greens dissolve into one another, creating an impression of sunlight filtering through the trees. Painted intuitively, the work moves beyond a literal landscape, inviting the viewer to pause and experience the fleeting beauty of a moment that is felt more than seen.

Rather than capturing a place exactly as it appears, this painting explores the way memory softens edges, leaving behind only colour, atmosphere and emotion. It is a celebration of stillness, light and the gentle wonder found in nature.
