I am a self taught oil painting artist whose subject matter is predominantly about nature and still life objects. Sometimes I see things as if my eyes have opened for the first time and with an overwhelming sense of wonder and gratitude. The act of painting is my attempt to somehow capture those moments. I like to think of myself as a collector of evanescent feelings rather than only a painter. At the heart of my practice is wabi-sabi—finding beauty in impermanence, simplicity, and the imperfect beauty found in everyday life. Through my work, I hope to share this sense of presence and appreciation, inviting viewers to pause and see the extraordinary within the ordinary.
