A quiet flurry

Inspired by the migration of the butterflies at the beginning of the pandemic, the calming and somewhat mesmerising effect of sitting watching them fly past as we press pause on the world. I seemed the butterflies might represent the constant & often overwhelming flow of information, observing it and allowing it to drift on by without reacting. That was in itself a blessing.

Alongside her boutique wellbeing practice, Kellie has yielded to the desire to be creating in the studio. A delightful space, where magic can happen and anything is possible, exists amidst playfully exploring the elements and swaying away at the canvas. Kellie is attracted to the lusciousness of paint, movement, layering of detail and vibrant happy colour.
