She lingers where the lilies fade...
...gently moving her hand through the water,
reaching through space to touch the gentle mosses.
Contemplating a pause in time - a time just to be.
She looks at the ripples moving across the surface of the water.
The reflections are so clear that she doesn't know which way is up or down. It is an ephemeral and reflective moment in being.
Named after a line in a poem of the same name written by the Artist - see below...
"She lingers where the lilies fade,
Beneath the glassy veil -
A breath - a hush - a fleeting wade
Through currents soft and frail.
The pearls upon her pallid throat
Like whispers lost in tide -
A silent hymn, a wordless note,
Where light and shadow bide.
She reaches - yet the mossy stone
Resists her spectral hand -
A traveller neither lost nor known,
Adrift in water's land."
