Artwork Description

Experience the ethereal beauty of submerged elegance with this captivating underwater photograph featuring my model in a vibrant gold flowing dress. The fabric's billowing effect contrasts beautifully with the delicate bouquet of white flowers, symbolising purity and grace. Soft, reflective lighting enhances the dreamlike atmosphere, creating a mesmerising visual narrative that is perfect for art collectors seeking unique, artistic compositions. Explore themes of transformation, tranquillity, and otherworldly charm in this stunning aquatic artwork. The colourful palette evokes both fragility and strength, holding the subject in a moment between above and below. The work recalls the dreamlike intimacy of Francesca Woodman and the underwater surrealism of Toni Frissell, situating my work within a lineage of photographers who transform the body into something both vulnerable and transcendent.

Taken during an underwater photo shoot at Bitter Springs, Mataranka, Northern Territory in September, 2024.
