My practice aims to capture ephemeral moments with my models in otherworldly environments. This photo shows my model seated at the base of a tree trunk fully immersed in water. She is wearing a white dress and shawl and is surrounded by aquatic vegetation. The lighting creates a serene and dreamlike atmosphere, with sunlight filtering through the water, casting dappled light effects. The overall contrast between my "mermaid" and the underwater environment emphasises a sense of calm and otherworldly beauty.

Named after a line in Lord Alfred Tennyson's poem "The Mermaid".
