Artwork Description

Odyssey (a long meandering adventure, journey, quest, or pilgrimage)
The original “Odyssey” is an ancient Greek poem by Homer That describes the journey of “Odysseus” (from which the word is derived). His odyssey, relates the trials and tribulations of a long adventure as he tries to make his way home. He is beset by challenges thrown in his path by vengeful deities, then aided by beneficial ones, who bless him according to their own divine whims.
"Blue Odyssey" represents a particular passage through life, and is articulated by visual motifs of illumination and flight. In a broader sense it is not a personal voyage, but a collective human journey that we can all identify with. It is polaroid of passion, emotion and the accumulated wisdom and wounds that life’s journey entails.
