Pretty Blue

This piece continues the theme of Australian native birds and features a tree that I photographed on Magnetic Island in QLD. The tree itself was beautifully sculptured by the wind as it grew by the edge of the island from gorgeous blue granite rocks. The perfect jewel in this scene was an azure Kingfisher.

This painting is a large oil painting painted with thick areas of textured paint. It is professionally stretched over a pine frame and is ready to hang.
