A painting of contrasts between the Cobalt sky and the Prussian lake. I really like how the vegetation breaks the two colours up, and I'm pleased with the underlying golden hues that make up the base layer of the painting coming through the way they do. I used a palette knife for a lot of this painting to give it movement and texture, which is clear in the clouds and the trees.
This was inspired by the varied landscapes I've been lucky to visit on my travels around NSW.
The canvas comes with a D ring screwed into the back and is ready to hang.
