I've been missing these little paintings! After focusing on larger, very detailed pieces, it was nice to take a moment and create this much more relaxed landscape. I found my tube of lemon yellow hidden in a corner of my paint box and what I shame that I've not been using it! Look at the amazing colours achieved by combining it with kings blue and white... definitely a colour I need to add to my standard palette, at least for a short while.
Although painted on wood, this is thin enough to frame.
