A calm serene painting of wetlands at sunset. I painted that beautiful transparent Indian yellow as a first layer, then add the various elements on time alla prima. Once all the painting was complete, I scraped off some paint to add texture and allow that yellow to come through in the grass. Overall, it's a very cheerful painting and I love the long landscape orientation.
Although painted on wood, this is thin enough to frame.
