One of two pieces created simultaneously, these paintings depict the rise and set of the sun, with mellow but interesting clouds built over multiple layers. I worked using a very limited colour palette with overlaps between the two paintings to ensure harmony, but while they would work perfectly in a space together, they're strong enough to hold their own.
The long, thin panorama is intentional, giving the sky and clouds room to move.
Although this piece is done on MDF board, it's still thin enough to be framed.
This painting would look amazing in a white frame with light matting.
