Oil on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Unlike many of my other landscape paintings, I wanted to show contrast through soft brush strokes and without any palette knife work. You can still see the layers, added slowly and over time, so that little 'windows' open through clouds to the sky in the back. Overall, I limited the use of stark white and instead toned it down with very pale yellows and blues, giving the painting a very warm hue.
I tried very hard to take photos to show the details but honestly, they don't do it justice. I debated for a while about whether I should list it, but I can't very well keep collecting my own work so here it is! I do hope you like it as much as I do.
It's oil paint on triple-primed framed canvas, with D rings on the back. I've added the keys to the back of the canvas for extra taught stretch.
