I did not intend on continuing the theme of 'Windswept', which is one of my all time favourite paintings, but it happened anyway. Windswept is characterised by high energy, high contrast work, resulting from multiple layers. The beauty is the final layer of varnish that elevates the piece just that bit more, because it provides slight hue shifts without discernible brushstrokes.
This piece is wild, and will never bore the viewer...you'll always spot something new.
This would look brilliant in a white frame with wide white matting.
