Oil on paper
Signed on the back.
Back to the swooping, sweeping, expansive skies, using a lot of contrast and a lot of texture. I'm playing with a slightly different palette to my usual, having replaced Indian Yellow with Aussie Gold, which is a lot less orange.
This is a new technique where I've incorporated wax into my paint, giving the final piece a gorgeous matte appearance. No need for varnish because the matte effect is intentional, and because the wax adds a layer of protection anyway. However, the paint surface will be as hard as a candle so please avoid scratches and get it framed.
This painting will be securely sent flat-packed.
