This painting has a bit of a story. I painted it in one session then set it aside because I loved yet, but thought it was incomplete. Fast forward many months and I still couldn't bring myself to add anything; it looked great, but I still had a feeling that it was incomplete. Perhaps it was because the underpainting was still showing in small fragments. Another few months, and I decided that it was happy being itself. There was just no stroke I wanted to add for fear of overpainting it. So it exists as it is, in fragments, but perfect as it is.
Although painted on wood, this is thin enough to frame.
